Basic Rod Fixing Kits, Rods and Fixing Components
The 10mm Stainless Steel Rod Display System offers a variety of modular components, including rods, top/bottom rod fixings, wall fixings, panel/shelf support fittings, and other finishing components. This system is suitable for standard ceiling-to-floor, wall-to-wall suspended applications, as well as other special configurations. Standard threaded rod lengths are available in 1.5m (4′ 11-1/16″), 1m (3′ 3-1/32″), and 0.5m (1′ 7-11/16″). The rods can be adjusted by joining them together for longer lengths or shortening them in place during installation. The most popular standard rod suspended fixing kits include rod fixings for ceiling, ceiling-to-floor, or wall-to-wall applications, rods, and decorative end caps. Additionally, panel/shelf side-grips or other specialty supports can be added at your discretion.

Note: 10mm stainless steel rods are available in standard rod suspension kits with ceiling-overhead, ceiling-to-floor, or wall-to-wall fixings. Ceiling-to-floor suspension kit comes with two or three RD10-1.5M rods. For taller suspended display applications additional RD10-0.5M, RD10-1M, or RD10-1.5M threaded rods can be purchased separately. Rods can be shortened in place during installation. The KRCA-10-1.5M and KRAT-10-4.5M Rod Suspension Sets include Top Ball-Joint Swivel Coupling Fixings with 38mm (1-1/2″) Dia. Bases — Optional Base Supports in 50mm diameter are also available. Rod Projection from Wall — 65mm (2-1/2″). Individual components for use with our standard suspension kits can be found in the component section below.

Note: Use RC-10/SS and RCF-10/SS fixings with 10mm right-hand threaded rods only — Join two or more of RD10-0.5M, RD10-1M, and RD10-1.5M, threaded rods to make any length and cut to size. Once screwed together the rods appear continuous. Use REC-10/SS end cap to finish the ends. It requires the rods to have threaded ends (fits on either male or female threaded end).
Specialized Accessories and Components
Optional Base Supports are compatible with RC-10/SS and RCF-10/SS rod fixings. Bases are available in 25mm (1”), 38mm (1-1/2”), and 50mm (2”) diameters. These bases can fit onto both ends of RCF-10/SS fitting — top ceiling fixing and bottom floor-tensioner. Use the CB-50/SS base support to suspend heavier applications (requires mounting to studs).
10mm rod system comes with right-hand M6 threaded rods. With a male thread at one end and a female at the other, the rods allow to be screwed into the top fixing or joined together to make longer lengths. Once screwed together the rods look like a continuous rod. Cut the rod with a hack saw at the bottom to achieve the overall required length.
Adjustable Angle Fixings come with ball-joint swivel coupling and 38mm (1-1/2”) or 50mm (2”) diameter base supports that can be adjusted to any angle. Compatible with RC-10/SS and RCF-10/SS rod suspension fixings. Use with applications that require mounting the rods at an angle such as suspending from sloped ceilings (cathedral or vaulted) or wall-to-wall.

Integrated Modular Sign/Panel System
The 10mm Rod Suspension System is designed to fit with our modular stainless steel standoffs and projecting supports. The integration of these two systems provides unmatched versatility when it comes to mounting signage, wall paneling, display fixtures, or other decor applications. It can also help solving unexpected installation challenges.

Standard and Multi-Position Supports — Panel and Shelf Applications
Supplied in a range of single and double-sided clamp supports for holding panels and shelves, top panel supports for hanging overhead signs, top/bottom supports for gripping onto front mounted panels, and multi-position swivel supports for holding angled presentations. Available in a few standard sizes to support 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” thick panels or shelves. Use multi-position swivel supports for applications that require an angled orientation. These fittings are adjustable to any angle and can be locked into position.

Note: Aluminum rails are offered in lengths of 4, 6, or 8 feet, with custom sizes available upon request. For installation, rail/track systems must be securely mounted to a solid structure or blocking. This includes attaching tracks to ceiling struts, structures above the ceiling line, or wall studs. The spacing for anchoring depends on the track’s sectional size, requiring anchors at least every 12 inches for ceiling installations and every 32 inches for wall applications. The overall durability and capacity of the assembly are contingent upon the secure attachment of the anchors to the ceiling or wall. The total weight the display can support is determined by both the strength of the individual anchors and the number of mounting points used.
